This Privacy Policy covers how daimi or daimi-affiliated company (collectively, “daimi”) handles personal data whether you interact with us on our websites, daimi may also link to third parties on our daimi’s Privacy Policy does not apply to how third parties define personal data or how they use it. We encourage you to read their privacy policies and know your privacy rights before interacting with them.

This Privacy Policy describes how we use your personal information and respect your privacy rights.

In particular, this Privacy Policy explains how our products, and technologies use your personal information.

This Privacy Policy informs you of our privacy practices and of the choices you can make and rights you can exercise in relation to your personal data, including information that may be collected from your online activity, use of devices, and interactions you have with daimi offline, such as when you engage with our customer support representatives.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any personal data we process on behalf of our business customers when we provide . The contracts we have with our business customers control how we process your personal data in this context. If you are a customer, employee, or contractor of one of daimi’s business customers and have questions about your personal data, we recommend that you contact daimi’s business customer in the first instance and, if needed, will provide assistance to them in responding to your questions.

What Kinds of Information Do We Collect?

daimi collects information as part of its business operations, to provide services, to respond to requests and offer customer support, to fulfill legal and contractual obligations, and to build its innovative products. You provide some of this data directly, such as when you order a daimi product, contact customer support, or register for a daimi event or publication. We also collect information through your interaction with daimi® and our website, for example, using embedded product technologies and cookies. We also obtain data from third parties.

Personal data is any information that personally identifies you or from which you could be identified either directly or indirectly. We may collect your personal data through your use of daimi or during interactions with daimi representatives.

The categories of personal data we collect from you depend on the nature of your interaction with us or on the daimi products you use, but may include the following:

Information Collected About You

Contact Data: We may collect personal and/or business contact information including your first name, last name, mailing address, telephone number, fax number, email address and other similar data and identifiers.
Payment Data:
We collect information necessary for processing payments and preventing fraud, including credit/debit card numbers, security code numbers and other related billing information.
Account Data:
We collect information such as how you purchased or signed up for daimi products, your transaction, billing and support history, the daimi products you use and anything else relating to the account you create.
Location Data – We collect geolocation data when you enable location-based services or when you choose to provide location-related information during product registration or when interacting with our website.
Security Credentials Data:
We collect user IDs, passwords, password hints, and similar security information required for authentication and access to daimi accounts.

Information Automatically Collected

Device Data: We collect information about your computer, printer and/or device such as operating system, firmware, amount of memory, region, language, time zone, model number, first start date, age of device, device manufacture date, browser version, device manufacturer, connection port, warranty status, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers and additional technical information that varies by product.

Application Data: We collect information related to daimi applications such as location, language, software versions, data sharing choices and update details. In cases where we incorporate technologies from third parties, data may be shared between the third party and daimi and appropriate notice will provided at the application level.

Website Browsing Data: We collect information about your visits to and your activity on our daimi websites, applications or websites “powered by” another company on our behalf including the content (and any ads) that you view and interact with, the address of the website from which you arrived and other clickstream behavior (such as the pages you view, the links you click or which items you've added to your shopping basket). Some of this information is collected using cookies, web beacons embedded web links and similar technologies.

Sharing with daimi Companies

If you live in the USA, APEC Cross Border Privacy Rules, Binding Corporate Rules, and Privacy Shield programs, daimi entities are contractually bound to comply with our privacy requirements. Furthermore, our privacy guidelines are communicated to our daimi employees on an annual basis as part of our mandatory trainings.

Where the international privacy programs identified above do not apply, when you agree to accept daimi’s Privacy Policy when registering a product or for service, creating an account, or otherwise providing us with your personal data, you consent to the transfer of your personal data throughout the global daimi network of entities.

Sharing with Other Thrid Parties

We may also share your personal data with: (i) credit reference and fraud prevention agencies; (ii) debt collection agencies (for outstanding debts with us); or (iii) insurance providers if you have purchased an insurance policy through us (e.g. Care Packs). If you choose to provide personal data to the other companies, that personal data will be handled according to the privacy policy of those companies, which may differ from daimi's policies and practices.

Corporate Transactions

Circumstances may arise where, whether for strategic or other business reasons, daimi decides to sell, buy, merge or otherwise reorganize businesses. In such transactions, we may disclose or transfer your personal data to prospective or actual purchasers or receive personal data from sellers. Our practice is to seek appropriate protection for your personal data in these types of transactions.

Compliance with Law

We may also share your personal data when we believe, in good faith, that we have an obligation to: (i) respond to duly authorized information requests of law enforcement agencies, regulators, courts and other public authorities, including to meet national security or other law enforcement requirements; (ii) comply with any law, regulation, subpoena, or court order; (iii) investigate and help prevent security threats, fraud or other criminal or malicious activity; (iv) enforce/protect the rights and properties of daimi or its subsidiaries; or (v) protect the rights or personal safety of daimi, our employees, and third parties on or using daimi property when allowed and in line with the requirements of applicable law.

We do not, and will not, sell personal data to third parties. Information from Thrid Parties

We obtain information through partners, vendors, suppliers, and other third parties. The parties from whom we obtain information are typically corporate enterprises (although some may also be educational or public enterprises) and they may be located in any of the locations in which we do business. Access, Correction to or Deletion of Your Information

If you request a change to or deletion of your personal information, please note that we may still need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes, and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting such change or deletion (e.g., when you make a purchase or enter a promotion, you may not be able to change or delete the personal information provided until after the completion of such purchase or promotion). Some of your information may also remain within our systems and other records where necessary for compliance with applicable law.

At your request and where the law requires us to do so, we will confirm what personal information we hold about you. You may also have a legal right to obtain a copy of your personal information. Data Privacy Rights Specific to Residents of the European Economic Area

Similarly, if we have collected your personal information with your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect (1) the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, or (2) processing your personal information under other legal bases.

Security

The daimi® services are designed to provide reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against risks such as temporary or permanent loss, destruction, and unauthorized or unlawful access, alteration, use, or disclosure. We require our suppliers and vendors to apply similar protections when they access or use personal information that we share with them. Users of daimi® must also do their part in protecting the data, systems, networks, and service they are utilizing. No technology, data transmission, or system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Personal Information of Minors

We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act in the United States, and similar laws around the world, where applicable to daimi services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without proper consent from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe that we may have collected personal information from a minor without the requisite consent, please email us at this address law@daimi.com. For these purposes, we define a "minor" to mean an individual who is under the age of majority in the territory in which they are resident.

Minors, or their legal guardians, may change or revoke the consent choices previously made or request access to or removal of any personal information that they have provided or posted to daimi sites by contacting us using the information in the please email us at this address law@daimi.com. Within thirty days of such a request (unless another period is provided by law) daimi will anonymize, or remove from public view such content unless legally required to retain such content or information.

Retention

We retain personal information for the period necessary to: Provide requested daimi® services, as needed to comply with legal obligations (e.g., maintaining opt-out lists to fulfill advertising and marketing choices or to comply mandatory record retention or legal hold requirements), as agreed in an individual consent, to resolve disputes, and to otherwise fulfill the purposes, rights, and obligations outlined in this Privacy Policy. This includes: (a) any third party operating any site or service to which the *daimi*® link – the inclusion of a link on the *daimi*® does not imply endorsement of the linked site or service by us or by our affiliates; or (b) any app developer, app provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider, or device manufacturer (such as Facebook, Apple, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, etc.) - including any personal information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with the *daimi*® or our corporate Social Media Pages.
