If you have an older generation car key, there is a chance that your key does not have the rolling code feature. Any key lacking this feature is susceptible to signal copying.
Rolling code technology ensures that each time you press the button on your key, the vehicle's doors open with a unique, one-time code. So even if thieves manage to copy this code, they are unable to open the doors. However, for remote keys without rolling code technology, if the signal emitted by your key is copied, thieves could potentially use this replicated signal to unlock your car doors.
The best defense against this threat is to minimize the range at which your key's signal can be detected. Car Key ONE ensures that the unlock signal your key emits originates from inside the vehicle, instead of out in the open. How does it work?
Car Key ONE has 2 motors that physically press on your car's key. Because it physically presses the buttons, there's no need to disassemble your key or tamper with its software. Car Key ONE can be easily set up in one go according to the position of the buttons on the key, and then it can start pressing with a perfect fit to your key. It communicates with your phone via Bluetooth and presses the lock and unlock buttons on your car's key based on the commands it receives over Bluetooth, allowing you to access your vehicle.

What happens if my phone battery dies?
If your phone's battery is depleted by installing the daimi Connect app on another phone and logging into your account, you can access your vehicle. Alternately if you are an Apple Watch user you can also unlock your car from your apple watch.
What happens if the battery of the Car Key ONE dies ?
Before ever having a chance to finish the battery of Car Key ONE, you will receive a notifications on your phone after when the battery level drops below 20%, which means you have a month to comfortably replace the battery. At 10% battery level, you will receive an email notification too. And even if you are too late you will have the chance to open you car with your second key (which all cars come with) you will be able to access your car no matter what.
Does Car Key ONE void my car's warranty?
Car Key ONE operates without making any changes to your car or to your key. It requires no permanent or temporary modifications to your car or key.
It does not void your cars' warranty.
Is Car Key ONE suitable for use in strong climates?
Car Key ONE is suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -10 to 45 degrees Celsius. Ensure that your batteries are above 50% or that you are using special Lithium-ion AA batteries when the temperature is below 0 degrees Celsius.
